Step 1: A Warm, Personalized Welcome
From the moment you arrive at our Syracuse studio, we’re focused on one thing: you feeling at ease.
You’ll be greeted by a cozy, thoughtfully styled space full of natural light — and a photographer who genuinely wants you to feel confident, comfortable, and celebrated.
Want to bring a playlist? A favorite robe? A lucky charm? Go for it.
Step 2: Hair & Makeup (Optional — and Always Empowering)
If you’ve opted for our professional hair and makeup, this is your time to relax and let the magic begin.
Our artists specialize in enhancing your natural features and creating a look that matches your style — whether that’s soft and natural or bold and glamorous.
No pressure. Just possibility.
Step 3: Outfits, Styling & Support
We’ll review the outfits you’ve brought, talk through what you’re excited about, and help guide you on what will photograph best.
Don’t stress about what you “should” wear. If it makes you feel good, that’s the point.
Step 4: Posing — You’re in Good Hands
One of the most common concerns we hear is, “I don’t know how to pose!”
Here’s the secret: you don’t have to.
We’ll guide you every step of the way — from hand placement to expressions to angles. Our posing style is designed to flatter your body while keeping things relaxed, authentic, and real.
Expect lots of laughter, encouragement, and yes — maybe a few power poses.
Step 5: The Reveal (and the Real Magic)
After your session, we’ll schedule your reveal appointment where you’ll view your images, select your favorites, and choose the perfect album, prints, or digital package.
This is often our clients’ favorite part. You’ll finally see what we’ve been seeing all along — your beauty, confidence, and energy, fully captured.

Do I need to know how to model? Not at all — we’ll pose you.
Do you edit the images? We do light retouching for color and polish, but we don’t overly alter bodies or skin. Your images will still feel like you.
